Would this site run faster without all the car pics?

I mean the huge pics that people have in their sigs.  Wouldn't they do better in the gallery.  No offense to the primered cars but I hate to see them EVERY time those people post.  It would also make it easier to read as you scroll down.  Please don't take offense.  Just a suggestion.

most of the sigs and avatars are actually small in size like 150k or less ... all the pics I use in pots are stored on a different site,  photobucket, so they are just links, not photos on the host server BTW I like the primer cars as much as the really nice ones so keep the primer pics coming ... we can't all have $40,000 cars

No, Jen I like your car.  The stance is very good and looks clean.  The primered cars just came to mind because they seem to be the most memorable.  There's a few in the sig's that never seem to change?  No big deal though.  Just a thought.

Gotta keep Jen's and James' Darts. They remind me of the one I had in 76. Of the 3 69 340 Swingers I had the primered one is the only one I ever raced. It was primer gray with purple flames, Joe.

It's not the pics. Primarily it's the number of topics on the board - it's getting bloated, and it's taking much longer for the database to run through it all. whenever the server has alot of traffic, it gets a bit bogged down. I'm slowly working on it...
