I Am Doing A Build This Winter And Trying To Get All The Parts That I Need A Little At A Time. My Oil Pan In My Duster Is The One Were To Run For Theses Big RB Engines In  A- Body's. But I Was Told I Will Need More Oil In The Pan, Are You Guys Modifieing Your Pans Or Is There An Alternative Pan For A 72 440 Duster With Shumaucker Mounts In It.

It depends on what you are building. A completely stock engine that's used as a daily driver will be ok with a stock pan. Depending on your build level you will need at least 6, 7, or maybe as much as 8 quarts. Go the the Milodon web site and look around, this will give you some ideas. It seems no good off the shelf oil pans for big block A Body applications are available. For this reason I always build my own and give them an 8 quart capacity.

Thanks DodgeBoy I Will Be Around 550 HP For The Street. Do I Just Extend The Bottom And Add A Hemi Pick Up. How Much Do I Have To Extend The Bottom To Get A Couple Extra Quarts. Are There Different Lengths Of These Pick Ups.

It hangs a bit low, but is a nice fit.  And it's steel, not aluminum, so it can survive the smaller hits it might take.

The pickup tubes are different. I bought a tube for milodons low profile pan and then added
about 2" to my pan depth. You dont need the 1/2" hemi tube either as most tubes are of
larger material untill the threads.

Its the turn in the block and the opening of the oil pump that need some attn.

I have the Milodon 30930 pan in my 68 Dart, with an RB, and it clears everything.
