It's not just a great name - it's also a business. Things change, that is the nature of the beast. There is a lot of very high quality, serious competition out there. If the employees that were let go were of any use to the trade they will wnd up at another competitors shop and that shop will be that much the better off. If the conditions and sale price aren't unworkable then they'll probably end up as a "a division of......." somewhere. I wouldn't sweat it yet.

Not my "creeper" I agree it`s no way to treat a Hemi . Wish I got the Lenco though.

That's bitchin Chryco! And I was jealous enuff when I thought your Hemi was cast iron . What's the history of yer alumniummium elephant. ?? I must admit my dream car would be a liteweight Dart with the elephant & the lenco . I can even find the rust free Dart but can't get the  around the idea . "Finish your 65 first !" "Fix the drywall first !", " I want new paint first " yada yada yada ,,,,she just don't get it !!!! Of coarse I would have to sell it after my first launch ,,,,,,,,on account I'd crap my pants so bad I'd surely ruin it !!!! -----------------Mopar Tom |

Tom ! I know what you mean about the "other " projects coming first ! That`s why I`ve been at it for over 12 years now ! I bought the engine from a guy who used to post on this site (Tweety) just after it got a new roller cam and freshened up at Barton`s . I finally got the car out to the track last August , got almost all the way through my first burnout , when bang , bam ! That was the sound of my front u-joint coming apart and the case of my Glide' cracking from front to back . Short day ! Getting the trans re-cased now and I`ll be out next year! Chryco |
