so i was thinking it would be nice to replace my 71 wing window doors with later non-wing window doors. has anyone done this? is it a direct swap, or is it better to swap the door/ window guts? any help would be appreciated.

i'm gonna say the only difference is the interior side.

Not much difference on the interior side. I have '73 doors on the left side of my 4-door. Doors clean swap most all '67-'83s years, but stay away from other model lines. I must say I'm a wing fan though. They're vents by the way...
I'd suggest pulling a whole door at a time, there isn't a whole lot of difference and you can probably do this cheaper and easier this way... But I have to ask why? (But at the same time, I know the reason...)

i know, sometimes the wing windows are handy. i just think the non wing window doors look alot smoother. cleaner.

Here's a secret: non wing doors cool better, but I like the looks of wing windows better and they are good for defrosting on cool days. w/o cooling off too much.
