finally over the weekend our postponed Fathers day meeting was held and finally got the 69 fastback out , with no track prep first pass 11.19 @ 123.18 mph 60ft was rubbish 1.808 to much wheel spin, then the car started to go slower as the battery got flatter there was no charge coming back in, so with Fuel pump, MSD , Waterpump and fans dead in the water. I tried not using the fans and steam started to come out and they kicked me off the start line.I have a small after market alternator which was the only thing that would fit low down on the Mancini billet bracket kit so I may have to look for something else.
At the end of the day 4 passes which now means the engine is run in I can build on that time and hopefully get a 10? something out of it, bring on 8-9 November.
