I just applied for what I'm calling my "dream job"....I spent 20yrs pulling wrenches on trucks and trailers, then moved to teaching(which I still do) but I'm in my 7th year, and it's still only part time(75%). An opening came up in our provincial Dept. of Labor for an "apprenticeship counsellor". Duties include getting apprentice tradespeople registered, organizing their training, etc. I'll be a nervous wreck until I hear back from them. Wish me luck!!  |
