I think it started out as a 4 door, and he did some very great custom welding turning it into a 2 door wagon. I know a guy who did that with a a 65 Dodge (was a 4 door wagon, not sure what they are called), and did custom welding, and turned it into a 2 door. He called it "The Domad" Looks cool man!!!! Keep us updated!

Well, here's what I know on two door wagons: Plymouth/Dodge were Suburban up to '59 (included), positively 2 dr sedan, think Ply had 2 dr ht Apparently pre-'63 A-bodies had 2 door wagons, think both, fuzzy on this The Drifters were different, they were something very different from what I've seen, more like "crossovers"(truck on car chassis) than wagons. '65 wagons were model names, which were now Coronet and Belvedere (and Satellite). I've seen this practice since about '60, where wagons joined with sedans in the model lineup. Pretty cross-board, most likely because of the model lines added in the early '60s, it was no longer 1 car with 5 names, but 3 or 4 cars with 5 names. His is custom, and very nicely done at that.

Well, after 9 more hours of wetsanding and buffing it's taken a new shine, now I am learning to polish anodized aluminum(of fun fun fun) More sanding,to get the anadizing off, then more sanding to take out some scratches from the 120 grit, then more sanding to take out the scratches from the 220 grit then some buffing to take out the scratches from the 400 grit(this is soooooooo much fUn!!!!)there has got to be an easier way ,oh shoot i'm "po" so I guess I gotta do more of this snding stuff, nahhhhhh I'm gonna start putting some of this stuff on the car now I'm sick of sanding for now, well let me at least try a piece of stainless trim first............ooooohhhhh much easier,Ok anybody know what to do with the aluminum to keep it looking good after I am done polishing it other than keep polishing it?can anodizing be done at the "home shop" ?
