Some of my girlfriends love horror movies, but I hate 'em... Anyways, they told me how this one "wasn't going to be all that bad" and how the last one they took me to was worse than this one and that I should go with them to see it... Long story short, they talked me into going with them (doesn't take much convincing for a single guy to go to the movies with five chicks), and I seriously thought I was going to shit myself like 513,596 times. I almost had a stroke. NOT cool. I'm still having to look twice before going into a dark house. I think I'm scarred for life.

I found myself real close to the floor a couple of times! I didn't even realize I was shrinking in my seat. I looked over at my wife and she was covering her eyes with her hands and knees. It kinda makes you want to get in the fetal position!  lol

Interesting. I haven't heard much about it, but it honestly didn't look very good in the trailers I saw. Only movie that really scared the piss outta me was The Grudge. I might have to give this one a go.

Wanna hear something funny? I'm not really a horror movie guy.  I went to see the remake of Dawn of the Dead a few years ago.  When I got home, I checked all the doors and windows.  My wife was like what the hell happened in that movie? Then, the next night, I worked a midnight shift.  I was alone in the basement of my 3,000,000 square foot building taking the readings.  I checked every corner before entering the corridors.

Is that the one with the chick from Dexter? She's a cutie.

I'de like to see that one for sure.... BIG TIME Horror Fan, from way back in the 60's,  got hooked on them, we went to
the drive-in show to see a double feature movie called ( I'll Drink your Blood & Eat you skin )  . about a group of hippies  caught rabbies and spread the epidemic,  the movie was scarry enough but what really kicked it off was..the next morning we all got up only to find a strange dog outside in our front yard foaming at the mouth,  thats when we all freaked out.

Never liked horror movies, but I did see the original Night of the Living Dead. Then a few years later the "scariest movie ever", complete with barf bags, Mark of the Devil. We laughed through the whole thing, especially when they pulled the guys tongue out with the pliers. Anybody remember that one? Joe.

totally going to have to see that!!! I don't scare easy w/ movies so it should be interesting.

Last one that scared me was "the ring". Something about that half decayed little girl moving all jerky in black and white freaked me out! Shocked Came home to a dead empty house and proceeded to check that my pistol was indeed loaded \/][

I TOTALLY agree! Does anybody remember the 1978 movie "Coma"? That was a great "mind bender" movie and an awesome cast!

White Noise was a good one . Really freaky when you can see and talk to ghosts over the TV , and hear them on tape. The sequel sucked big time though. The original movie "The Haunting" was also really chilling. These two flicks really mess with your mind.

Alien and White Noise were pretty bad!  Loved em.  Did anyone go see a 3 D movie in the early 80's called Parasite?  Gross! puke and terrifying!

A few years ago Spike Lee released some movie and there were a lot of riots and gunshots in theatres here on LI.
Sometimes the people that go to the movies are scarier than the movies themselves.

I always figured the first Saw as a good mystery/suspense flick more than anything scary. But man that shit had the best twist of any movie I've ever seen.

I honestly can't see how that movie scared anybody. I enjoyed it, but I honestly wasn't scared at all by it.
