aluminium manual stering box???

hi all.....a friend of mine have a steering box out of a cuda(70 or 71)...he said that the sterring box is a aluminium one.....i can have it for free!!! will it fit my power steering 1971 scamp??? i want to convert it to manual steering..... thanks a lot!!!

I'm not sure if E/B body steering boxes interchange with A body but even if they do the steering column's going to sit about 5-6" further down. You'll need a column extender to correct that.
