I doubt the 28 in tall tire will fit under the front. I have 235x65x15 on 15x5 rims had to bend the bottom edge of the front fenders in and up a little to clear the tire when making a sharp turn

Not sure 30's will work in the back unless you have moved the rear housing back or wacked the front section of the quarters??...... 26"'s in front......

26 inches would be the max in front, unless you want to cut the front lower edge of the fender lip for clearance on turns. To fit 30's on the back you may have to trim the leading edge of the wheel well, or space the rearend back a little.

Can anyone tell me what the largest 15" tire I can put on the front of my 69 dart. The wheels I want to use are only available in 15 x 6 with 3 1/2 backspacing. I will be converting to disc with stock size rotors and calipers. Thanks
I had my tire guy mount a 215/70-15 on the front and it hit the bottom front edge of the wheelwell. I had to go to a 205/65-15 0n the front and that cleared by about 1/2" ! (This was on a ARE Outlaw I 15x7" rim w/ 3-3/4" backspacing

whats the biggest size that can be run without mini tubing, 68 dart with springs relocated stock wheel wells, thinking 275-60-15 would do for a street car?

I have the same question, Can I get away with running a 275/60/15 with a relocation kit. What back spacing should I get on the wheels? What is the largest wheel I can fit.
No mini tub!

I'm trying to database all the information that's been shared here. I'll post up a link once I get everything done. If you add your setup, can you share as much of the following as you can... Wheel diameter, width and backspacing Specs on the tires Which axle or if it's custom, the width (and if it's flange or wms) Any mods done to the springs and wheel wells (including moving the axle back) Anything special to note
Example, 15x8.5" wheels w/ 4.5" backspace 275/60R15 tires Standard A-body 8-3/4" Offset springs and stock wheel wells with the axle moved back 1" This setup doesn't rub anywhere and I have about 1/4" clearance to the wheel well and 1/2" to the springs.
**NOTE** That's just an example.

My '72 Dart has a stock-width B-body 8 3/4 rear under it, and minitubs.
From reading this thread it appears that those tires on a 15x10 rim are a good choice, but the posters all had A-body rear ends.
Do I have any off-the-shelf choices for rear wheels that will allow me to run 325-50x15 tires without narrowing the B-body rear? Or will I have to get a pair with custom backspacing...
thanks Charles

I had a hiccup and lost the first database I put together. I went through and got all the information again. Wheel/Tire DatabaseIf there is anything incorrect or information you'd like to ad, please PM me. I tried to make sure it had all combos that have been tried and worked.

Okay guys i need help with this combo.I widened my dusters rear wheel wells and can now run a max tire width of 13.5" after doing this i bought a cool set of vintage keystones to use.The problem is they are 14" diametrically and the ONLY tire i can find that will mount on the back wheels are B.F goodrich radial T/A.They dont make a tire that will work on the front of my car without going to tall and looking odd.So heres whats on the rims now...these are shot by the way.Front is p195/60/14 and on the rear p245/60/14.I COULD have the rear wheels widened IF there was a tire that would work if all else fails.Does anyone out there know of a matching tire combo?I have checked goodyear, michellin, toyo, yokohama, pirelli.I really wanna use these wheels and it looks like im gonna have to go oddball on the front unless somebody has an idea
