test a power steering box for leaks? Something leaked, could be hoses Huh

It's out of the car, and I don't have a running engine to hook it up. I would rather not install it and find out that it's a leaker.

I was thinking I could use the air hose to pressurize it. Don't know what pressure they run either...

You can connect the complete system with the pump above the gear. Then figure out a way to spin the pump up. Oh, they ALL leak anyway.
