Power to manual Brakes
« on: March 21, 2006, 10:11:53 PM »

Looking to convert my 73 duster from power to manual brakes.  after taking off the booster, and the bracket for it, seems all i need is a different shim to go on the fire wall to seal it up, any oh-by-the-ways i should know about before i fiind them on my own?  front discs, btw...
thank you

You need a manual brake pedal pushrod. Id also suggest highly that you get or make the 4 to 2 bolt adapter and use the newer style aluminum master cylinder. other than that---just bolt it all together and bleed the brakes.
