Battery Box
« on: March 26, 2006, 08:58:37 AM »

I want to move my battery to the trunk in order to clean up the engine compartment and to help with weight distribution. The problem is that most of the battery boxes that I have seen are really cheasy looking plastic. I would like to find something that is really nice for a street driven vehicle that is in car shows occassionally. Anything available, or do I start fabbing?

Would you need a bttery box with an Optima battery, they do not leak and have several options for mounting.

I have a red top Optima in mine, no need for a box. I've heard you can mount it upside down if you want.  Greg
