My question is I have Car Farm boxes. He uses a paper templet of existing hole in frame. Is that right. The holes are drilled in the boxes. What is the best way cut the hole frame or leave one side?

I know people like to leave one side of the frame, but if the box is welded in properly it shouldn't matter if you notch the whole frame or not.

I left 1 side of the frame rails for extra support when I moved my springs in with a Mopar spring relocation kit . The chassis guy told me the Mopar spring relocation kit metal was pretty thin , and leaving one side of the frame rail would beef it up enough. He also put sliders on the rear hangers .
