Will the K-member work without any modification, or at all? How about the rear-end and leaf-springs? I put a 440 and 727 into a 72 along with an 8 3/4 and SS springs. Now that it's come time to paint it I've found a better and much cheaper 71 to be painted the color I want including the engine bay which I was going to have to do later when I put an Alterkation in. So now the obvious solution is to unbolt the K-members and rears and swap them out. Are there going to be any gotcha's??
Thanks Gary

Ok, I was told the car was a 71 it is in fact a 70. I have the disk brakes and the modded mount tower on the 72. Can I still swap out the rolling assemblies?
Thanks again

Same thing still. '67-'72 shared the same basic suspension. '68-'72 was almost identical

My plan is to just put a trans jack with casters under the trans unbolt the trans mount the upper A-arm steering and connections and brake lines drop the t-rods and unbolt the k-member from the body and lift the body up and roll it out with the engine and trans still bolted up. then reverse the process on the other car. It always sounds easier than it is. I'm pretty sure it's not just going to roll out on a trans jack and floor jack with a 440 and a 727 sitting on top.
