I got my eddys today, they are 82cc ![\/][](http://www.bigblockdart.com/Smileys/classic/finger020.gif) I think just cleaning them up will be good. I see more in them, none of them ports are the same but I gave it the Ray Charles test and they need a little work. Iam thinking about milling them .050" just to start [attachment deleted by admin]

How did you cc them? Those are bare castings, which comes with the guides unsized, and the seats not cut. edelbrock also throat cuts, and blends that after cutting the seat. But, yah, they do need work, and will respond well to mild work Frank Advanced performance www.get-ap.com

I was doing some 452s and bought some 3/8 x2.14 valves and 3/8 x1.81 dill the guides I can use those valves. ![\/][](http://www.bigblockdart.com/Smileys/classic/finger020.gif) I though that I had to buy 11/32 stiem valve. The reason I bought the heads bare iam putting a roller cam so I need better springs,so I have to do what it takes, so can I mite put the 3/8 stiem valves? will I have to drill them to put the 11/32 in it. I didn't buy the valves yet. thank you for looking at what I have. I have a motor thats is new in my car but these heads are for next year.

yes before I bought these heads I was going to build some 452s,I bought some 3/8 stim valves 214/181, but then I bought these eddys bare I though that I had to buy 11/32 valves, but if I have to fit them I mite can use the 3/8 valves. I didn't know that they needed to be fitted. can valve glides be drilled or will I have to get 11/32 valves and just fit them in? I have the 3/8 valves now if I could use them without buying new 3/8 valves glides. thank for helping me get strate. BENT 43 OK I cleaned the ex ports on 1 head ,all the sharp and missmatch edges are smooth, cast lines, the valves glide bosses where they pressed them in had a sharp flaired edge. I didn't take any out that I didn't have to. I didn't port them just clean. after and before [attachment deleted by admin]

OK I think I have it. I have to buy new valves I didn't understand what was going on but tom1951 had to resize the glides in the center. All that is ok because I have a lot of time on this motor, Iam not porting these heads yet but I will mill them .050 this time, after we get all the clean up done ,and the valves in I will cc the heads. ![\/][](http://www.bigblockdart.com/Smileys/classic/finger020.gif) hoping for 74 to 72cc. I think maybe .006" to .003"in the hole with .039" headgasket. BENT 43 [attachment deleted by admin]
