Thanks guys. I`m puttin "go green" on the plates !I really am having hood issuses. can`t run a aircleaner because the carb vents actually hit the hood scoop. That is beside the typical turing sharp issues because of the headers and 430 spool in the rear.

The guy I bought the car from made them. In fact they slip apart(the header tubes for access. I`m thinking about a new design for header flanges and exhaust for these cars since they have ground clearance with the collectors as well. I hope people will buy them as it will work on most cars.

from the front of the scoop to the hood is 3 1/2. The side if the scoop to the hood is 3 inches. I`m thinkin I need at least a 6 inch.

Nice! I dealt with carb clearance issues the same way as 69 dart hulk. Too bad it's not an older one, I have an extra hood for sale.

The front brakes are wilwood. The spacer is 2 1/2 inch which picks up 10 horse on the big end. I need a hood real bad. the vents on the top of the carb hit my hood and with no hood is like a tunnel and wind drag.

Sounds cool! What are the engines specs? That looks like a six pack scoop but I cant really tell from the angle of the only pic that has the scoop in it.

its been back halfed, front halfed with with wilwood rack and pinion steering and wilwood disc brakes. The car has engine plates, a 10 point cage. 2 racing seats with 6 point harnesses, narrowed 9 inch with a expensive center section with a 430 spool,Moser axels, expensive drive shaft, 6-pak lift off hood (has a clearance issue ) line lock, MSD 6-AL, MSD distributor, engine plates, new TCI tranny with a 10 inch converter, reverse manual shift, The engine is a stroked 440 to a 500 inch. The rotating assembly is balanced Eagle crank and rods with J+E flat top pistons, moly rings. The heads are closed chamber that have been ported and polished, 2.14 1.88 race valves and double springs,10 degree caps. Compression is around 11.5 to 1. Cam is 590 mopar performance solid cam. Head lights, park lights, tail lights, license plate light and brake lights work. This car has the best of the best in it. right now it has 30 inch tall tires with 10 inch wide slicks but with a different back spacing it will hold a 13 to 15 inch tire. All 4 corners are adjustable, it has super stock springs but still has brackets for a 4-link
