SS springs on my 63 in this pic.  This is just how it sits when I put them on and have the longer extending C-body shocks.  They ride great for me as I drive it everywhere.    Ron

Those are a pair of sweet machines.  You must be proud!  That looks like a good stance to me, though I may not go with the SS springs.....unless I order 2 which are for the same side of the car (an uneven stance would drive me nuts).  Oh, and can you use C-body shocks on, say, a '72 or '73 A-body?  What C-body years will have compatible shocks?  I know they are longer, but what will be the advantage of this?
I ask because I have a pair of coil-over load-bearing shocks on my C-body (I added them because the dual exhaust sits a bit low) and I'm really happy with them.  I'd love to put a set of them on my Dart.

Thanks for the kind words.  The black 65 is my buddies car and it is nice.   Thumbsup   The C-body shocks have longer extension to them so they wont top out when the SS springs work on launch.
The springs I ordered from Mancini and they are their 3400 lb SS springs that came with new shackle's and bushings and new U-Bolts.  It did not sit perfeclty even but I just had to adjust the torsion bars as you do almost any time you install SS springs on a car.  I love them as it drives great and they work nice at the track.  In fact the last time out with the car in Oct I was driving the 45 miles to the track when an SRT-8 Challenger started messing with me in a small town I was driving thru.  I decided as we caught the last redlite in the town I would go.    I spanked him but his car ran good as I use 30lbs in my rear tires street driving and I spun when we took off.  He had a car lenth on me before I got a bit of traction easing out of it.  I wound out first and got dead even with him when I pulled second and put 2 car lenths on him  When I was ready to pull third around 90 mph I lifted as he did as we knew who had won.   He was probably a good mid 12 car.  Then at the track I ran my best of 11.49 and ran a 1.57 sixty ft which I felt was good for a mid 11 car.   Then I drove the 45 miles home.   Smiley   But I feel the springs work very good as it launches nice and straight now and the car stays very even from side to side.  I dont have any real good launch pics of it with the new sprigs but I have this pic as you can tell its nice and straight.     Ron

Here is a launch pic before the new springs were on it. It would actually get worse then this as when it hooked before the new springs it would lift the left front wheel 4 to 6 inches and the right front wheel was still on the ground !  Ron

Nice stance. haven't gotten into the suspension on my dart yet. i know the shackles will have to go. Thinking about checking out J. C. Whitney.
Going to look at front end also. dart seems to handle extra weight of the 354 pretty well . Good set of shocks wouldn't hurt.
