Maybe you should go read the sequence of posts on this thread. I responded with a similar incident. Then out of nowhere.. bam! The "bbdclick" comes outta nowhere! Funny thread! PROCEED!  I know. I saw that but if you continue to get insulted and defensive any time someone (anyone, not just here but anywhere in life) takes a quick jab at you your going to drive yourself nuts. Besides, all she said was something about the brain damage, I'm pretty sure it was in jest. When I started this thread, not only was it EXTREMELY self-depricating but I even chose to include photographs to document my stupidity. Now I ask you, after that what can anyone possibly say that would insult me? Politics were never even mentioned. You're entitled to your opinion. I may not agree with you but that doesn't change anything, you're still entitled to it. It seems, however, that anytime you get into it with someone you become angry, defensive, and you are usually the one who starts in with the name calling. If you could find it in yourself to take a little ribbing every now and then you may find that people may be a little more receptive to your own ideas. Try to have a little fun with it and not take things so seriously. As far as the government is concerned, we're ALL getting screwed!!! Don't matter which 'side' your on!!! |

You know, there's a reason I took auto shop class in high school instead of drama, and threads like this never fail to remind me as to what that reason was. You guys are getting ridiculous. Maybe if you want to throw immature insults back and forth, you could do all the rest of us a favor and do it through PM's or emails so we can be spared?  Satellite65, great story. Something similar happened at work a couple weeks ago when the shop foreman leaned into a work van with the doghouse off to look at an oil leak at the back of the intake. Leaned over the driver's seat, and placed his elbow on a fire extenguisher with the pin out, and POOF! It was hilarious. Sucks to clean up, though. Adam |
