o----o<>I would first like to say thamk you to all the guys putting this site together. It has made my project go a hell of alot smoother. My question is I have my motor (440)in place with the tranny(727) using the stock tranny mount (old maybe worn out?) and 76 c body engine mounts with a modified( thanks again!!) K-frame. The motor is level side to side (level placed on the carb flange on the manifold) but it is off a quarter bubble back to front. It looks fine and everything fits like a glove (tranny dipstick etc.) but should this be level as well? I would like to know before I start finishing everything off. Thanks in advance you guys rock!!!

You are alright, don't worry. Just change the rear tranny mount if the insert gaps in the mount. It going to tip alittle towards the back. I used one of those poly trans mounts to tighten things up.

The motor doenot sit at 0. It should have some tilt. If you can look at a mopar performance chassic book it will give you the best #. Fuel injection this does not effect.

Did You level the car first? Usually the best place to check this is the door sill. Level the car, then the engine.Yes,You want the carb flange on the manifold level to the car.A little off in the bubble wont hurt anything.

Like the others said. It's not a problem. Remember back in the 70s, all the air shocks and tall shackles? I'll bet the carbs weren't real level with those.
