Question for Bill??
« on: April 14, 2006, 01:57:01 AM »

Hey Bill, got the A arms and front strut package.  I was curious should the upper arms come to a rest on the rubber stop or what?  Seems like on launch at the drag strip when the wheels go in the air, the only stop for these is the ball joint.  I was hoping the front suspension would travel farther than it did, but sure did loosen up the suspension travel.

The front leg of the arm is actually about 1/4" ahead of the center of the bumpstop on a-bodies - basically if you trim the round top so it's flat, the arm will rest on the factory bumpstop.

Alot of guys make their own stop with a little plate on top of a bolt so they can adjust the height of it.
