Replacing torsion bar crossmember and left frame rail
« on: April 18, 2006, 01:48:45 PM »

Have a rotted left front frame rail and torsion bar mount. Have rust free replacement parts instead of using patches or repair kits. Iwas planning on swapping the torsion bar mounts first and then the rail. Would this be the best way or should I do it the opposite. I don't feel they should be both cut out at once. Have plenty of support for car and marked garage floor with a plumb bob to make sure everything goes back where it should. Car is a bare shell, completely stripped Thanks for any feedback. Neil
