I have heard talk that B body shocks are 2" longer. Do they have more stroke or are they the same stroke as A body ones? I was looking at the KYB shocks from Summit for my street 69. All info greatly appreciated.

Shocks from a 70's newport are longer 2 inches exactly.

I don't have SS springs (??), not sure what the springs are in there. There are 5 leafs and the second one down goes right under the front spring eye. Just thought if the B body shocks had more stroke, I would just get those. The A shocks will probably be OK, since the springs are moved on the rails the distance is shorter. The car is way up in the air to do the exhaust and frame connectors. I just got it down to the ground yet.
