has anyone els had problems with a mini spool coming apart.
replaced the second one in a month in a friend of mines car
dont know if we are doing something wrong or what
its a stock 489 case with 4.30s in it and it keeps throwing the pin out of the case. and the mini spool case is all cracked.
if it does it one more time its getting a mosier 60 or at least it sounds good

My friend broke 2 minis too and thats a small block chev. . Get the real thing,you payed more alreddy sometimes I see them for $175, the mini cost $99 or so.

heck there are some full spools on ebay for 120.00 or less new, the minis are junk i had one in my 440 dart and never had a problem are you using the shims behind the blocks the same ones that are normally behingd the side gears???is the dowl still there for the pin it shouldn't come out

The minis work well in the sand dunes but on anything with a lot of tire ,horsepower or traction you'd be wasting your time not to go with a full spool. Z
