66 dart need help 331 hemi

i have a good 331 hemi and 66 dart has anyone ever put hemi in a dart or can it be done if so what needs to be changed thanks

There are a couple members here putting early hemi's in early A's.
I think it would be cool.

"Wanderer" at Gentry's Garage was doing that some while ago.  He's more often found on the Early Valiant/Barracuda list these days, I think.

You probably already know this but some 331's have part of the bell housing cast on the block. That makes them very difficult to adapt to a modern transmission. So make sure you have the later 331 that uses a more conventional bell housing setup.

there is a guy  in  ohio,,adapting  GM, bell housing,,for a 4 sped set up to the early 331 with bell attached,,

also some street rodders are now  milling off the cast bell and using an adapter plate to  mount a 727  or 904 A..
