dying vinyl seats
« on: May 08, 2006, 12:39:30 AM »

ive used spray on products to dye my door panels and plastic parts, but ive never done vinyl seats.can they be dyed?what product did you use?was it worth it or does it look cheap?I had great results with the other parts but was worried the vinyl seats were too soft or would'nt endure the wear and tear.tell me what you know,i would appreciate it.  stu

I did my non Mopar and it worked great. Go to Eastwood and buy the cleaner, etching primer and interior paint. There may be a kit.

Yep. They lasted for years with no signs of wear and I got rid of the car. Eastwood says this paint is very plexible for this application.
