Would you reuse?
« on: May 09, 2006, 12:11:18 AM »

I have just finished gathering and powder coating etc. everything for the front end of my 68 GTS.  Only 2 things I didn't replace yet are the TB adjusters and the LCA pivots.  The old seem to be in good shape.  Are these reusable?  Also, has anyone every installed the triangular poly bushings for the sway bar?  Seems to be an impossible task?  Any tips?  Brad

Yes, those are reusable. I think you have to split the bushings to get them on or maybe heat them up.

I reused them. I even had to heat the adjusters to free them up so they could be adjusted again. \/][ and the swaybar bushings I would cut on the side that mounts to the car. Maybe it doesn't matter. drinks
