the bumpers on my dart need help. the chrome is pitted i think, real small bumps. what can i use or do to shine them up more, ive tried using buffing compond and a buffer, they shined up a little but now i can see the bumps better. i know they need to be rechromed but money is too tight for that now. any help would be great

When I bought my dart it had some surface rust on the bumpers. I used 0000 steel wool on them and they cleaned up really well.

I used te steel wool too...followed by chrome cleaner and a good wax.....looks great
