Installed my AAR hood
« on: May 21, 2006, 02:09:50 PM »

Just installed my AAR six pak hood on my 67 dart.  The fitment is pretty good, I still need to fine tune the alignment a bit in the back and tweak the fenders a tad at the front because the hood rubs at the front corners.  My only complaint  so far is that the location for the little bar that engages the latch mechanism, it was off a little.  My factory steel hood had a glass 6 pak scoop molded on a some point in the past, and it weighs in a 70 pounds.  The new all glass 6 pak hood weighs in 27 pounds, for a savings of 43 pounds of dead weight  Cheesy

You're kidding me. I thought the AAR bolt-on hoods were a lot heavier. That's good news.
