Silly question on fenderwells
« on: January 07, 2006, 01:28:33 AM »

I have yet to unbolt my fenderwells in my 65 dart,so I have no idea what to expect when I do,  but what I am wondering is  can I run the car without them?  I never drive the car in the rain, I am putting a 440 in it and it seems like I might get a bit more clearance with them removed, just a thought.

The fenderwells are tac welded in and alot of the time when you start to cut into them you start to have window problems.  You really should get frame ties whenever you remove the fenderwells.

A cage is also a good idea if you remove them.
