rear suspension options??
« on: June 20, 2006, 09:18:35 PM »

can anyone help out with a progression of a rear suspension setup? i mean i'm going to to a spring relo, and possibly a small tub job. but at what step should i do this, the end result needs to be a hd road combo, and just thought i'd throw on a sway bar and might get the springs strengthend (de arch and add 1) and add a swaybar. but for the race handling, is there a better (cost effectivness in mind too) idea?? like 4link + coilvers?? i dont want air anything either. any sggestions?

are you wanting to be a street/strip car or a corner handling type car? for street strip most of the guys on the site use superstock springs and caltracs. i like regular springs with a slide-a-link system. the slide-a-link works great for my car, easy to adjust and makes my car just stand up and go straight. hope that helps.
