Hi anyone who knows how to wire the three pin connector on a 727? Ingemar

Well it has three pins and I know that they are for backup light and starter but I dont know wich wire that is for starter and light hammer

the one for the starter goes to the solenoid and has a rectangle plug on the other end,i think it is brown with a yellow stripe,what colors are there?

I dont know I dont have the harness. Is that one ground for the starter relay?

yes the one to the solenoid is the ground,it is the connector in the middle,it goes to the G on the solenoid

Ok thanks so its the one in the middle. And the outer two is for the backup-light?

thats correct at least on a 72',but i'm pretty sure they are all the same.

Why bother with a DIY project, the complete harness can be purchased from www.evanswiring.ripod.com for about $20.00.

With all due respect Cudadust, when you are outside of the US, someone like Evans are not easy to deal with, cheaply. i bought a new neutral safety harness from Evans but he does not take paypal or credit cards, so the only other alternative was send a bankers draft , which, speaking from experience, is very expensive and time consuming due to the USPS. Fortunately, i managed to get round this by paypaling Jim lusk the money and he very kindly sorted everything at the US end
