Off-set Upper Control Arm Shaft Kit
« on: July 05, 2006, 06:47:23 AM »

Does anyone know where to get an off-set upper control arm shaft/bushing/eccentric kit for an A-body? They bring the alignment back to factory specs by compensating for the extra lift on cars that have the torsion bars cranked up for beefy tire clearance. I've heard they're made but don't know who makes them. Any ideas?

Thanks for the advice! I installed a pair of the JC Whitney 6 leaf high lift springs and the old Scamp took a nose dive. It was already sitting pretty high before the installation because I like the tall level look with fat tires up front better than the usual rake most A-body guys run. There's just something about that extra level of clearance! It's looking like I'm going to need to crank up the torsion bars quite a bit to get it level again so I'm thinking I'll need the off-set bushings for my next alignment. I'll post some pics when I figure out how to down-size my pic files.
