MAX. TIRE SIZE FOR HOOKER FENDERWELL HEADERS

I need to purchase a new set of front tires for my big block 67' Barracuda. My old Goodyear 26" eagles hit my fenderwell headers now, should i buy the 23" or the 24" front runners? What size street tire will clear these headers

24s should work fine. the 25s on my car still rub a little but I don't turn much.  Dave

  I have 14"rims and small car tires and still rub,         I think red rider wagon wheels will still rub

It's been a long time since I had it, but my '70 Valiant 383 with the Hooker fenderwells had small 195-60 front tires on stock steel rims (probably 14") and they STILL rubbed a little on one tube on each side. Adjusting the torsion bars (to change the ride height) didn't help.

Are you absolutely sure you want to keep those headers? The only way to get enough clearance is to remove the tires completely

I just recieved the 24 x 5 drag eagles in the mail today, I hope they fit!

              Let us know how it works out, if you race the rollout is going to be different and will make you go red,or killer reaction times,I worry about my oilpan getting to low(I need to change that suxer)but one of the headers on my duster is very low.     BENT43
