Are automatic and 4 speed crossmembers the same, Car is a 67 dart GT. Currently small block auto, may convert to 4 speed. Many thanks. Neil

Yea they are the same. The 340 and big block cars used a bigger bolt size, but the holes on the cross member can be enlarged.

Brent, Are you sure about that. I guess it's been so long since I've had my GTS apart, but I don't recall any difference.

Thanks for the responses. Enlarged bolt holes no big deal, I didn't know if there was some sort different shape to the mount. Got a guy thats trying to tell me I must have his crossmember to go with the trans. Thought it was B.S. but figured I'd ask. Thanks guys!

Yep, The bolt tubes that are in the cross member frame is a larger dim. for a thicker bolt size. I know this first hand on the 340 cars and have heard it to be the same on the big block cars too.
