I received my JC Whitney springs today. I don't know what they are supposed to fit, but it sure isn't my Dart. Springs are long, oval front eyes, huge centerbolts, just plain wrong. When I called, they argued with me that someone must have changed my car in the past that these were the right springs. I told them I want a return shipper and a refund. Still waiting for an emailed return shipper. Never again!!!

They are usually good on returns.  You got FJM body springs.  I got them last time too and had to return them.  No cost on my end...they called Fedex for pickup, I just left them on the porch.

Hey I've got 2 pairs of those FMJ springs here - need any more Grin. They didn't even bother to pick them up - just abandoned them. Finally got the correct ones on the 4th attempt and then 2 months later right out of the blue, 1 single solitary spring shows up Dunno. It was totally beyond funny by then (mainly because I finally got mine). I think their spring maker has an issue that they just do not want to address. I need some more so maybe I'll try that johnrspring site. Good luck on yours.

Wow; thats really strange. After I recieved my springs (which were correct); about a month later; another set shows up. I just headed off the UPS guy and told him I wanted to return them. No extra charge ever showed up on my credit card.
I think they must have some half wits working for them, considering all the complaints. As far as the product goes ? I won't know till I get my Strange 60 in and a coil over front end in to get the car "rolling".

Looking at the JC Whitney the bushings don't come on the leaf springs but I noticed on some of your postings they came with bushings - Is it bushings or no bushings.  If they didn't come with bushings, what kind did you use?

Thanks

I got my springs about a year ago, no problems.  Good fit.

But now I finally got my engine in and rearend in.  4.88 gears with a spool.  Of course the spool binds but when it does it moves the rearend forward and backward.  After many measurements and checking everything i figured out that the front spring eye bushing is giving enough to let the rearend move.

I don't think its a problem with the spring or the bushing just they are OEM replacements and not intended for use with a spool.  So I have to get new bushings.

Just a heads up for anyone else that is gonna try them with a spool.
