A bodies rock, even though I sold my 440 Valiant. I drove my 64 Dart to Mopars at the Strip and watched a kazillion A bodies run in the 10s and quicker. What a  great event. Anybody within 1000 miles of Vegas should plan on it next year......

I haven't finished my 72 duster yet, but the 440 that I had in my challenger is going in it and I ran 12.91 @ 107 in my 74 challenger with stock stall converter and 3:23 gears, (and an %^&$%#$ distributor-at 6 degrees advanced my total was 48 degrees, I'm going MSD this time.)
 The Duster is a lot lighter with some fiberglass panels has a 3,500 RPM stall and 4:10's I'm hoping to see some good #'s.
My 86 ranger runs 12.81 @106 with a mild mopar 360 and 727 combo. it has 340 x heads a 218 @50 duration cam with .454 lift and 8.5:1 compression and stock exhaust manifolds (headers won't fit) and a 125 shot of nitrous.

best time so far,12.4@105mph  1.7 60 ft times,thats with an all stock 440 6 pack motor, now with a demon 850.509 cam, a 3500 stall,4:10 rear, radial tires.never checked the timing yet,seems to need more fuel pump.It should be in the high 11's if I can stop breaking tranny's and rear ends.

Ran 11.90 116 with a 1.75 60 ft time on a 90 degree day 2000 DA on a badly prepped track, through mufflers, hopefully a little bit more to come.

Ok before everyone laugh's ( lolhahaha) hers what I run. 74 dart 1966 383-2 motor the only modss are an edelbrock performer intake and 750 edelbrock carb and headers. The timing chain has never even been changed. 8 3/4 b body rear with 2.94 open gears and 205-70-14 tires, Can we say NO TRACTION. 14.50's at right around 98 mph, and it stumbles bad above 4500rpm

My best to date (only time I ever raced it was 7 passes a few months ago), in drive, on 225/50 r15's street radials very hard compound, 3.23 sure grip, thru full exhaust, and with an unknown weight but guessing about 3300-3500 lbs, I ran a 60' of 2.097, 330' of 6.257, 660' of 9.799 at 69.85, 990' of 12.762, and a 1/4 mile of 15.384 @ 89.29, just mild 360 with a 904 trans. I do intend to go out and better that yet this year now that I got some things worked out I might be able to nock her down to the mid 14's.

 I much rather prefer to go out and hammer the corners, rather than burn up tires trying to make a pass at the 1/4 mile though. (my first pass that day was a tire scorcher, I got told I burned both tires all the way out to the 330' mark. My  60' was 3.187, 330' was 9.196, and 660' was 13.031 at 67.66 mph and 990' was 16.061 overall 1/4 was 18.712 at 88.05 mph)

 I may not stomp you in the quarter, but the real world involves going left and right also and I don't have to slow down to do that. I hope to some day be able to go out and make a run in the Silver State Challenge,   hey we are allowed our dreams

 I rebuilt the trans, installed a used 2500 stall conv, rejetted the carbs...we'll see in 2 weeks. shooting for 11's!

After a long absence  (marital issues)  Im back!!  I posted my first night out at the track months ago  ( it sucked).   But with a little practice, I was able to whittle it down to a 13.27 @ 106.3.  Still pedaling the throttle with the wimpy street tires, and a 2.96 geared 7.25 axle.  But Im gettin there.  By next season Ill have the $$$ and time to get a stout 8.75 built, and Im gettin some rims altered to fit, and Ive scored a set of slicks, so next year should be pretty good.  For now Im happy to go out and run mid 13s and spank all the local loud, flashy Camaros!!!

Hate 2 say it but I was in a Chevy 84 C15 Short Bed Fleetside 12.11 at 110 on a hundred shot With a 454 Sadly I havent finished a Mopar yet that made it to the track and went any faster. BTW truck was tubbed w 4.10 gears and M/T Sportsmans and driven daily it was cool but still brandx
