i have a 69 dart and am about to rebuild the suspension and switch to disk brakes. I think i am going to go with the "G machine" stage II kit. Would i buy the one for disk brakes or the one for drum brakes and ask for the 1973 lower balljoints? Thanks for the help

Thats alot of money for a bushing kit. It doesn't even come with a swaybar? What are you actually getting for 1000bucks?

It has sway bars. Probably not a bad price, but there are problems with using the poly LCA bushings.

I have a PST kit and they give you a stock style rubber lower control arm bushing- they even say the aftermarket poly ones are junk!

MOPAR "A" Body-1963-66 • $881.75* ** Dart, Duster, Demon, Valiant *NOTE: No Front Sway Bar included. MOPAR "A" Body 1967 Only • $1111.70** MOPAR "A" Body 68-72 Drums • $1031.70** MOPAR "A" Body 68-72 Discs • $1011.70** MOPAR "A" Body 73-76 • $931.70**
It says it doesn't come with a front swaybar. So it doesn't come with a front swaybar or rear springs? Not really arguing with anybody, just that I am in the market also and am trying to cover all my bases on parts aval.

It's only the early (66-earlier) kits that doesn't have a front sway bar because they don't have one available.

well heres what i did. I bought Billy Reillys upper control arms, KYb shocks, .990 torsion bars from Mancini, Schumacher mounts, and a Super polygraphite front end rebuild kit from PST. I hope that works out, it doesnt have sway bars but shouldnt be too bad for my first car

from what I understood from PST is that poly LCA bushings don't use an outer sleeve in the design giving them nothing to really hold them in place- you actually have to use the old sleeve? I think? I'm not an expert but thats what I gathered from a couple different places.

mrspeeddemon's right. I'm going through front end rebuild right now and with all rubber and with poly you have to use old sleeve. Steve

i'd still use a stock rubber bushing in the lower arm and i'd definatly get some sort of front sway bay.

I agree with Chad - use a rubber lower arm bushing - the rest would be ok, but that one would be much better as rubber. As for a bar, it's a good idea, but it's just an add-on that you could do any time, so no worries on that piece.
