Indy Equipped

Wayne King Jr is the owner of this 73 Duster and as long as he owns it, dont expect it to look the same for too long.
Every year, a few more upgrades find their way to the car, in the hopes of a better timeslip.

Starting out back, SS springs were installed 3" inboard and lowered. The 8.75 is equipped with Moser axles and 4.30 gears. MT 28x11.5 ET Drags ride on Weld wheels.
A -12 line feeds the BG filter and then heads to the Holley Black pump and regulator.
Looking ahead, the manual 727 holds a Dynamic 9.5" converter that stalls at 4500.
Interior upgrades include the typical gauges, Summit seats, RCI harnesses, and an 8-point bar to meet the rules.

The 440 decals were custom made and a '71 grill was added along with the black hood to really bring out
that bright yellow.
Ya gotta love these in-your-face colors.

Ahh yes, under the hood.
Between those bright yellow fenders resides a +.030 440 with a steel crank, BME aluminum rods and 13.5:1 TRW pistons.
An MP 590 cam runs the valves through Indy roller rockers in the Indy 440-1 heads.
On top of the Indy intake resides a Prosystems 1080 Dominator and exhaust is expelled at a fast rate by way of Hedman Hustler fenderwells.

Performance to date has been a respectable 10.70@134.
Wayne's already talking about low-10's next year, so dont expect things to look this way for long....
