Sticky Business Racing
'70 440 Duster
Sticky Business Racing consists of Eric(above), his wife Audrey, and friends Todd, Beth, Marco, Kevin, Brian and Tom.
They built and race this 70 Duster, which has a best time of 11.46 @114 MPH and a 1.50 60'

To get the car race-ready, they lost the inner fenders and installed 'glass fenders and hood to lighten up the nose a bit, and added a 10-point cage.
A 4.56 Dana was then stuffed under the back to ensure trouble-free weekends, and it's fitted with 13/31/15 Goodyears.
The stock 5-leaf springs each have one clamp front and rear and work great with Caltracs traction bars. Rancho 9000 shocks keep things stable.
A 3.5" shaft with 1350 joints connects the big axle to a 727 which uses a Turbo Action brake and J converter.
For those who are interested, Eric's own website has large amounts of info on the Caltracs bars. Eric's currently migrating his site to a permanent home, so I've included both of his links to these pages below.

Motive power comes from a '66 440 that was bored .030 over. TRW's and stock rods spin the factory crank.
A pair of 906 heads were treated to a mild port job and the valves are kept orderly with an MP 509 cam.
An Edelbrock Torker intake holds the Holley 750 in place and is fed by a Holley Blue pump.
An MSD 6AL fires the mix, and exhaust is routed out through Hooker Super Comp fenderwells.

Here we have a group of good friends with a reliable car having large amounts of fun with little cash.
It doesn't get any better than this :)
Eric says the Caltracs bars have greatly increased the cars consistency, and if you'd like more info, visit his website. You should visit there anyway, as he has a great site.
