A 4.56 Dana was then stuffed under the back to ensure trouble-free weekends, and it's fitted with 13/31/15 Goodyears. The stock 5-leaf springs each have one clamp front and rear and work great with Caltracs traction bars. Rancho 9000 shocks keep things stable. A 3.5" shaft with 1350 joints connects the big axle to a 727 which uses a Turbo Action brake and J converter. For those who are interested, Eric's own website has large amounts of info on the Caltracs bars. Eric's currently migrating his site to a permanent home, so I've included both of his links to these pages below. |

A pair of 906 heads were treated to a mild port job and the valves are kept orderly with an MP 509 cam. An Edelbrock Torker intake holds the Holley 750 in place and is fed by a Holley Blue pump. An MSD 6AL fires the mix, and exhaust is routed out through Hooker Super Comp fenderwells. |
