Late Model Master Cylinder Adapter Here's a simple diagram to make the adapter yourself, although, they are only around $30 to purchase from just about anywhere. I can't remember where I got this diagram, so my apologies if I infringe on someone's ownership The most common one to use is mid 80's, say, an 85 5th ave or diplomat MC. The newer truck ones are angled up, while the older versions are straight. You may want to avoid the larger bore truck masters if you have regular brakes - the larger bore could give you an very stiff pedal. You will need the 2 bolt adapter to use the aluminum ones. If you have manual brakes now, the factory pushrod will work with the aluminum ones. The piston is shallower in them and the adapter puts the piston roughly in the same place as the older ones.
