Looks like I'll actually be able to start working on my '67 Barracuda convertible. Got it ridden hard and put away wet, already with 0.060" over 440, 727 w/ reverse manual valve body, 8 3/4. Lots of mods in mind, but I really just want to get the thing together, safe (for drag duty), and on the road.
First step is to re-fabricate the drip trough that the back end of the roof fastens to. Used to be mostly Tiger Hair. About 5% of it is still good metal. That and the remaining rust make up about 20% of what was there originally. I can tell that it was installed before the quarter panels were hung, and that in all it was made of 6 sections. Not very much of it is made of flat / not-shaped sheet metal.
Anyway, has anyone already been down this road and have some advice? Thanks!!!
