well i have started at last will have windows and motor and trans out over weekend then it will off to the blasters for blasting back to bare metal will need some help from you guys as where to buy parts from bought a glasstek bolt on hood with hemi scoop but could not get to fit properly seemed to have flat area behind scoop so the sides sat about 3/4'' above the guards when we moved it down caught on rear when we moved it forward it was past front guards so not sure what to do i think i will use orignal hood and use bolt on scoop
thanks 383s it has 440 906 ported heads harland sharp rockers victor manifold 850 proform carb 727 trans manual reversed valve body 8 3/4 cone style locker 3.55 gears trying to decide what alloy heads to use hope to have it painted and back on the road by xmas thanks warren
back from blasters with no suprises has had anti rust treatment and epxoy undercoat at the panelshop now to fix a few rough spots should be off to the paint shop early feb all parts have arrived including caltrac's will post more as we progress
thanks guys but i spent the money and had the hole in my hood fixed will run hemi scoop i bought from AAR will be puting hemi denny front suspension in it so will make hole for scoop then
What happen to the white? The red looks great but I thought you were going an off-white color. Are you still interested in the finish panel, or did you find one?
yes will do used 2'' drop spindles i think i ordered the wrong lenght shocks springs hitting the top arm at full drop will wait till engine in and have another look
well it looks great bolts in with no mods have not driven it yet or done any more work in about 3 weeks work is so crazy hope to start again soon will keep you posted
mate i see a major problem with your metal work for your thermo fans you seem to have no back space between the alloy and the radiator cooling tubes. so you can only cool the area the size of your thermo fan.
fans are about 3/4'' away from the core this is a burnout king radiator made by desert cooler in australia has 1.25 size tubes so has extra cooling a friend has the same setup in his 500'' b body has no problems thanks will keep an eye on it
Your headers are beautiful. It is like looking at eye candy. Don't get me wrong the entire project is beautiful, but those headers just caught my eye. Well done sir!!!
