    71 Demon, glass fenders, doors, hood, trunk lid and bumpers, half cemented 68 440,12.5:1 590 cam 906 heads mild porting, crane gold 1.5 roller rockers, M1 single plane 950 HP Holley, 727, 5000 stall , grinner trans brake, 4.88:1 9", ladder bars , coil overs , 14" slick, run 10.60 -10.70 1/4 mile

    Wow, pretty impressing Demon you have over there. Would love to hear the engine sound... My neighbor had a 72 Demon 340 back then and it was a beast. Whenever I heard the engine sound in the street I was going out to porch of my to watch the car going into the garage. My neighbor used to laugh at me every time.

    That Demon sounds a lot like mine except I have a 416 stroker I'm building for it now. My engine id a duplicate of a Hensley build that went 9.40s in a 2800 lb. car, my car is 2500 lb. with me in it, 5 gallons of gas & two batteries. With the current 408 with iron heads, it's gone low 10's. I'm hoping with the new engine & the diet I'm putting the car on, I'll go low 9s on 10.5 x 29.5 tires.
