History
My son purchased this in 2004. He had the dream to make this a big block car. We sorked on this together but did never got it running very well. He sold it to me in January 2013. I have vowed to get it running reliably and eventually complete the rest of the project.
Currently changing to Moser 8 3/4 rear axle and Willwood rear disc brakes. Will have to change wheels and tires too. The reason for the change is the stock housing was leaking and could not get front end alignment due to a bent housing.
Engine has valve train noise. I am going to replace the rockers to see if that fixes it.
The headers leak at the collector. I really would like a different header without sacrificing performance. The engine easily overheats and this is the car's major driveability issue.
