I have read several discussions on here about the linkage rubbing the oil pan I want to see if this is where other people had the problem. I just pulled the motor out of my Big Block 65' dart and you can see where its pounded out on the pan I have and where it's hitting the linkage. I just wanted to see if anyone can tell me if this is where their linkage was rubbing and what oil pan may work? Or at least an oil pan with a shallower tail end on it that might require less pounding out. Or a pan to start with to have someone notch it out and fabricate one

I'ma try the 402 pan see how that goes then if not I'ma.just get one that fits the best and cut it and weld it to clear the center link and front k member. I also have another deep sump oil pan I'ma try it on. Suck but looks.lile this might be the only way to get a oil pan to clear with stock suspension. Oh and I'm using schumaker motor mounts too.
