(These are AFCO swaged steel tubes with threaded ends.)

I bought some Caltracs cheap this summer for B/E bodies. I need to replace the transfer tube with one 2" shorter to fit the A body. What are your thoughts on these? Will they be able to take a pounding? They are listed for steering and suspension, but I don't know what kind of strength ratings they have or what I would need to replace the origionals with.

I saw those when I was browsing the catalog. I'm sure they would be pretty strong, a good deal for $18.00.

.095 DOM (drawn over mandel) seems thin but hey worst case senario is you break one it drops down sticks in the payment and launches you off the road. call up the guy who made them and get the right length bars. probably cost you the same $
