I was just wondering if it would be worth my time to build a set of fiberglass panels and hood, I work at a glassing shop, so i can for a fairly cheep price, its just alot of work. would it make much of a wieght difference? I know that the pannels are already light, so i need some oppinions, thanks.

Seems like I remember a couple of people on the board here looking for fiberglass for early A-body's. It might be worth your while to go into a part time specialty business. ;D Just a thought

ok, so i am guessing that i should probably do it. how would i get them to bolt onto the frame? probably just glass some tabs in or something, then i have to get some aluminum square tube so it will hold shape at a high speed.

That's where I got my hood from (VFN) and it took over 3 months to get it when they told me 6 weeks.  Then there were a rear bad low spot in the crown of the hood running down the center.  I was putting a scoop on anyways, but............
