If you read Mopar Muscle or Mopar Action, there is an issue that shows you how to take your old guage regulator , open it up and convert it to a SOLID STATE ELECTRONIC DEVICE (I assume that this is the 5 volt regulator common to most Mopars for the guages, right?) If this is what you guys are talking about, order the back issue and check it out, it is an easy fix using radio shack electronic parts that cost like 5 bucks. The factory part is a bimetallic spring type of thing that moves internally and gives an "average" of 5 volts. When it goes bad and gets stuck, the gauges can all "go up" at the same time (meaning all the needles will all rise at the same time.) I hope this helps.
