I'm debating as to what to do with my interior on the 68 dart seat wise. I have a mint black bench interior, and I love it cuz it's comfy. ;D I also have a pair of the A100 seats like they used in the Hemi Darts but I'm not sure if I would like them. I'm not too keen on the plastic racing buckets ( got one of those too - use it to sit in and play vid games) . Let's see some interior pics so I can get some Ideas!

Gumby, Sorry I don't have any interior pics, cuz mine is in about a million pieces. But, my opinion is run the bench seat. They look good with roll bars and it has sleeper written all over it. I would run one in a minute if I had one. It would also let the wifey cuddle up next to me on cruise nite. Just my 2 cents worth. Matt

Here's some of mine. The floor is covered with Carpet, I glued vinyl over the the removable tunnel. The column has been extended between the wheel and the dash by 2" as well as shortened under the dash so it ends before the firewall. The dash/gauges are stock and the headliner is stock.

Headliner and yes the dome light works :D

Ugly velour door panel that will be replaced with stock black vinyl and the stock arm rests

Carpet and vinyl covered tinwork

Shifter pedestal/consel

nice ride. interior is strictly business.
Thanks man! tnku I like to think it looks more like a pro street car than an 8 sec ride. 0/

Steve, I should've mentioned, the Kirkey seats are very comfy ;D I have 17" heavy duty Pro Street seat on the driver side and 15" econo drag seat on the pass side. That's the filter for giving rides, you have to fit in the seat lol

Filter - I hear that! I gave one of my 350lb semi -pro lineman friends a ride in my dart last year, and the broke my seat! As soon as I hit the throttle, the seat back went flat back! To this day he won't get back in for another ride. ;D . We have Kirkeys in the Duster, I'm just not sure if they give off a poser look on the street even if the Dart will be capable of mid tens this year.

My Swinger is just a cruiser, no racing, and I like the buckets. I used buckets seat out of a 1986 Chrysler Laser, all leather, reclining and with the pump up thigh and lumbar support. Console from a 1970 Cuda with the Slap-stick shifter. It's a combo you just don't see any where else.

I'll post some pics of mine when it is complete in a couple weeks, but I took some measurements went to the local salvage yard and got the front buckets, console & full flip down back seat out of an 05 Grand prix, with some welding of seat brackets and slight metal work it all fit right in,(ok it took 2 full days to make the necessary modifications), but now it fits right in. Not your usual 1965 Dart.

I get some strange looks having carbon in a 70's mopar, but i think it makes a good juxtaposition. that black stripe going down the door is carbon and the pedals are aluminum with carbon, um, tread? the intirior is not done yet, obviously, but there is a 15" monitor that flips down from the celing in front of the mirror. computer controls the EFI and has wifi.

I did it. I just cut out the back of the existing dash and used epoxy to bond in a flat piece of carbon, drilled holes for guages and switches. I've been working on this car for 6 years and i have a habit of saying "you know what would be cool..." then doing it the next day.
